#ORJR. --Oil Extremely Rare around 1600's Era Huge Religious Oil on Canvas.
This is an extremely Rare Oil on Canvas Painting which is from around the 1600's era. It's mesmerizing and would only be found in a Museum, Monasteries however never to be found in private hands. It is hand painted on canvas without the frame or stretcher. Jesus is represented sitting and around his shoulders hangs a red shroud & around his hips covered by a white cloth. His hands are bound with rope while holding a branch within his bound hands.At Right side is a white column which upon lays stinging whip. The canvas would need some restoration as partly the painting is off & edges around the canvas frayed.
One can only imagine the Holy Energy which lies within this Oil of Jesus in addition to all the massive amounts of Prays individuals left within his Spirit.
What a Rare piece of History from the 1600's...
