Jim: I have a few More of these Bed Canopy's you will see below here...... Each is different... Each in Wood and Each can be used with my gorgeous Antique French Textiles to hang upon. You can choose which fabric panels you like and attach to any of the Bed Canopy's I have. Its very difficult to find these Canopy's and you are first to see them... I have not taken photos of any of the others however, let me know if you think you want this one below or more. They are stunning up over a bed. And, back then and now in Europe they are used everywhere and all the time.
#CIELDE.PG.JIM. Gorgeous Large Antique French Ciel de Lit / Bed Canopy circa 1880's and in velvet with antique French Silk interior. This has solid wood construction and antique velvet and silk surrounding both interior and exterior. The exterior having velvet surrounding the wood construction in addition to the antique roping trimmings surrounding the velvet for an extra rich appearance. The interior when on would be looking upward having antique pleated silk with a finishing in center of a rose. This is easy to hang with roping attaching and hooks. It can be pulled tight to the ceiling or hanging downward more a shown. The valance at side and swag valance do not come with this Ciel de Lit. You could easily attach your own or one of mine as I have more then enough for you to view and choose from. It would be easy to attach by thumbnails or even staples if you wish to use them. The Bed Canopy / French Ciel de lit is in a Neutral colour so one could use just about any other colour to enhance it more.
The size is approx. 4 feet by 5 feet... its a stunning piece in your bed room.
#RDVALSTL>PG.JM. These are more beautiful in person... the Fabric colour is a rich red having a raised effect. Antique French Pr. of Valances. Lined at opposite side and French Antique Trimmings' attached to both as shown.

#TFRBURIBPG.B Wonderful Velvet Antique French Drapes / Curtains / Panels, circa 1880's. These are a wonderful set of French antique drapes consisting of four great tall panels and very thick stunning ribbed velvet. They are lined as shown but again due to age the lining is faded although still nice. They are tall having a hem under the lining on each. These are luscious in the thickness and appearance being ribbed as shown. The each have wonderful French Antique trimming along the side as shown also in all photos. Two of the panels having pleats at upper for hanging and the addition two panels being straight across. One panel, also shown in several photos, having a stain where the colour has left, again due to age, however, one might be able to redo this small colour absent if they care to dye this small area. Also, a small ornament could be easily placed over this area as well -- perhaps a colorful flower ornament. The colour of these are a gorgeous wine burgundy colour -- rich in appearance. These are very old and remain yet in wonderful condition as shown again in all my photos. There is very minor sun fading shown on each where the fringe trimmings area is from upper to lower -- again please see all my photos.

#TFRMETBURPG.B. Gorgeous Rich Antique French Curtains, panels, drapes, with matching French Antique Valance. A Gorgeous very thick set of antique French Drapes in a two tone colour of deep burgundy and a shade lighter in burgundy to compliment each. Each panel having silver metallic trimmings along side. These are beautiful very thick, nearly rug like, rich velvet and show wonderful in appearance. They would be great for table covers as well if you wish to use some for your walls and some for your tables or perhaps flooring. Each is fully lined as well and in wonderful condition due to their age circa 1880's.

SBR. #1-2. Exquisite & Luscious the Finest Silk Brocade Antique French Curtains / panels. Circa 1890's and in a colour of rich red having motifs in colours of rose, beige, coffee, tangerine, blue/greens. Trimmings along side as shown with wide decorative band at upper. These have a very large hem for added length. You would not be disappointed with these beauties as the rich appearance & antique French fabric is far more beautiful in person. For there age they are in beautiful condition and these are most certainly the highest fine silk one could come across.Measures: Total of 4 Highest quality Fine Antique French Silk Panels / Drapes /Curtains.

#RERF7. Antique French Deep Red Velvet large table cover or throw with heavy surrounding trimming along each side. Good quality and rich in appearance--colour is deeper rich red. Also, there numerous small holes in areas and also in numerous areas the thick velvet is missing or worn down... see my many photos please. Also if you are going to use as a throw depending on what -- you could figure where these flaws would appear. There is also one small mended hole. I made the second row of photos below very huge in size so you can see the flaws. Please click on each of the small thumbnails below. Even with these markings throughout the piece, it is honesty very beautiful as the velvet is very rich and thick as you can see in several photos when its all together -- you see the thickness of it. The colour is rich as well.. a deeper rich colour.
#GRVELVALPRTAP.PG.B. Stunning French Antique Rich Velvet Valances with Needlepoint inserts. Gorgeous rich luscious thick velvet having hand consuming detailed Needlepoint inserts on each long valance. In addition each long valance having large tassels hanging on entire scalloped bottom. Each is lined on backside fully in addition to hooks shown as well for easy hanging. The linings are dirty as shown also and front sides less dirty however can be cleaned if you prefer. These are made very well with the rich texture of velvet in addition to the detailed embroidery inserts, trimmings and surrounding fringe at base. The colours gold, cafe, beiges, taupe's, rose/peach in addition to the rich colour of velvet being the deepest olive green .

#PKBDRM.PG.JM. Gorgeous Antique French Set of Medium Pink Silk Floss Drapes / Curtains filled with ball trimmings. This is a large set and photos descript the stunning appearance when they are up. They are in beautiful condition for their age and they are long. I added on several of the photos that my Valances DO NOT go with this pink set... My tie backs do NOT go with these pink sets of drapes and my Deeper Rose colour drapes do NOT go with these pink colour drapes. The set colour below is a medium colour of pink in silk floss and having green and pink ball trimming as shown. They are not lined. and they hang beautiful as shown.
Total of I think I have about 6 panels of these.... its a large set...

#PO2RS.PG.T Stunning Fine Silk Brocade French Antique Portieres. Total of 2 and more gorgeous in person. Both lined at backside with upper banding for hanging easy. Circa 1840's and in the colour of rich bright red. The silk is fine and does come with flaws for being so old however they appear just stunning as shown here in all my photos. The upper on each can be turned upward to make them taller if needed or can be used as shown here.
Measures: 7 Feet Tall (Each ) includes the fringe.
Valance attached to upper is 2'4" if needed taller you can reduce the size of the valance by folding it shorter with the fringe showing.
One panel is missing only 3 tassels at base which does not distract from these gorgeous portieres. The fabric and quality is very high in these and they are Exquisite in person as shown in all my photos.

#VAS.SS. Exquisite Very Large and Ornate French antique Valance. This is filled with very high quality French Antique Trimmings and I have taken many photos of close ups for your viewing. It is Stunning in person including the colours and all the rich high quality of antique trimming surrounding the entire scalloped bottom and surrounding the center as well. Surrounding the entire scalloped bottom having thicker fringe in various colours in addition to the long roping above this. The French Tiered trimmings are all hand made and in wood and then hand wrapped by silk threads which was a skilled talent back in this era and much time consumed and these are done in a rich colour of gold silk. The center wide braided trimmings are applied surrounding the center as shown in photos which adds another rich appearance to this fantastic French Antique Valance. In addition this has a full lining at the backside in the colour of ginger. This is circa 1880 and yet still remains in gorgeous condition with very minor flaws which are only natural being so old. The backside having minor stains in one area barely showing as shown in photos and front side having extra hand stitching at upper done in the past which is nothing. The fabric is made of heavy linen and silk and feels heavy and thicker when touched. The colours of the valance are vivid poppy, cafe, latte, sand, ginger, brown and one might say all the Fall colours which are stunning.

#FOS. Gorgeous French Velvet Antique Matching Valances having beautiful Passementerie surroundings. Both lined at backside and in a gorgeous soft blue color. The antique French Velvet is thick and the colour is rich in appearance.

#RVREN8. French Deep Deep Burgundy heavy panels / fabric. One Large piece as shown and can be used for numerous projects such as upholstery, doll clothes, etc. The is great for upholstery also being its thick and would wear well for years. The colour is rich in appearance as well. Its a lovely piece for something special.

Tall tattered Panels of French Antique Drapes in a stunning blue color with background motifs in fleur de lis and French antique trim along one panel side only not the other drape--pleated at upper. Linen and Silk. In several places the fabric is very fragile so these would be good only for cut up use of pillows or table cover or smaller drapes--you have much fabric here so you can work around the fragile areas. Very Tall Panels. Due to their age circa 1880 the fabric became fragile from storage but only in certain places.

The trimmings are exquisite on this set and very rare to find so many on one set yet being so old. The French trimmings make a outstanding and rich appearance in this entire set.
