I  am a board certified in obstetrics and gynecology in private, solo practice, which means that all my patients see only one doctor , which is me-- for all of their care.
I have been in practice since 1983, and I have been practicing in south Florida since 1991. I went to college at Tulane University and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. I attended Indiana University Scholl of Medicine and did my internship and residency training at the very fine ST . Vincent Hospital and Health Care Center in Indianapolis , Indiana. 

WHAT I OFFER in TREATMENTS, TESTS, PROCEDURES, ETC.

My practice offers gentle personalized care, both my staff and myself know our patients, NOT like many group practices where you, the patient may see a different doctor or nurse every time you come into the office. 

I am on call 24 hours a day , 7 days a week, I sign out to someone else only on rare occasions.

 I offer complete obstetrical and genealogical care, also I do basic infertility treatment and work-up.

 I have delivered over 4800 patients in my career, nothing substitutes for experience.

I will take care of my obstrical patients from the beginning until after delivery.

 I do normal vaginal deliveries, vacuum vaginal deliveries and C-sections, which ever method is best for the particular patient. I am skilled and experienced at doing all types of deliveries. If a first time mother does not want to labor, I offer elective c-section at the patient's request. 

 I deliver at 2 very fine hospitals Boca Community Hospital and West Boca Medical Center. We do in office OB ultrasounds and also we send patients to the perinatologist , which is an OB sub specialist for some OB ultrasounds. My Obstetrical patients have been very pleased with the personalized care they receive through my office. 
 
I offer office gynecology services which include routine pap smears,  treatment of abnormal pap smears, HPV testing, diagnosis and treatment of vaginal infections, external itching problems, diagnosis and treatment of STDs. also birth control options and I always try to give samples when I have them.

 I treat menstrual problems including, dysmenotrrhea - which is painful periods,

I also treat abnormal bleeding , which includes bleeding in between periods, irregular periods, no periods, heavy periods as well as abnormally long periods.

I also treat PMS and PMDD, as well as menopausal problems .

I diagnose and treat pelvic pain, as well pain with intercourse. other problems  that I treat are ovarian cysts, fibroids ,polyps and adnexal masses and tubal problems and endometriosis.
I offer diagnosis and treatment of urinary incontinence, as well as diagnosis and treatment of bone loss.
 
I do many in office procedures and testing , so you the patient does not have to go to another facility for these tests.
These include gyn  and ob ultrasounds, bone density testing, urodynamics- which is testing of the bladder to diagnose and treat urinary incontinence, colposcopy and biopsy for abnormal pap smears, leep procedure and cryosurgery to treat abnormal pap smears, endometrial biopsy and  in office hysteroscopy to look inside the uterus to diagnose and rule out problems.
 I also offer my patients the exciting new technology of Endometrial Ablation which is used to treat the inside lining of the uterus to improve or stop abnormal bleeding ,including heavy periods, bleeding in between periods, long periods, and painful periods.
      This has saved many of my patients from having a hysterectomy and a 6 week recovery period. When a patient has an endometrial ablation, if it is done in the office on Thursday, the patient can go back to work on Monday. The procedure causes very little to no discomfort , both during and afterward.
I also offer in office tubal ligation by the Essure method, which in my opinion is much safer  and there are no incisions so it is much more comfortable for the patient.
I also do outpatient minor surgery in the hospital if necessary which includes D and C, laparoscopy, and other minor surgical procedures.
I also do major surgery including hysterectomy, removal of ovarian masses , myomectomies and other inpatient surgery if necessary.
My practice accepts almost every insurance and we offer low competitive prices for self pay patients.

I offer same day appointments if necessary.

 I have 2 offices to better serve my patients, one in coral springs, and one In east Boca Raton.
